A magical hotel and perfect location
We stayed at this lovely and hospitable place for a couple nights after our trek. We definitely picked the right place. First night Chef Patrick prepared a raclette feast for everyone and they had a nice happy hour outside on the deck beforehand. All the meals were delicious and they have a nice wine list.
Typically I don’t sleep well but the bed and room were so comfortable that I slept soundly and felt very relaxed. The rooms are well thought out with hooks and ample closet space for outdoor clothing. The bathroom had a large shower and our deck was great for late afternoon lounging after hikes.
This hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located to the shopping street, wellness center (pool and gym facilities), and bus station for side trips or access to major cities. We started our trip in Zermatt which is jam packed with tourists and a tram ride costs 35€. Saas Fee is a real gem, low key tourism and the hotel provides a “citizen pass” so you can take lifts to the high alpine glaciers, hikes, and eating spots.
We will return here again, a magical spot.

Small is beautiful
We have spent the last week staying at this lovely little hotel. We had a good sized room with a balcony, facing the mountains- a view well worth paying a little extra for. There is just one set menu for each night but Patrick is an excellent chef and you won’t be disappointed. The food was delicious and plentiful- 4 courses each evening, so come hungry! On our last night Patrick provided a taste of Switzerland with a lovely plate of local meats followed by a raclette feast...mmmmm! The staff were helpful and service excellent.
The location of the hotel is just conveniently down from the bus station and near to the Hannig cable car. On arrival you will receive a citizens pass giving you free access to cable cars, chairlifts and buses in the valley- a huge saving allowing multiple visits to the marmots!
Patrick and Jutta have built up a lovely establishment which we feel is punching above its weight as a three-star hotel. We thoroughly recommend The Park Hotel and very much hope to return in the future.

Well deserved 5 stars!
Fantastic little hotel, great location. The rooms might be small but they are spotless, warm and very comfortable. Breakfast is classic continental and evening meals are stunningly good. Patrick is a super star, happy to meet your dietary requirements - top chef! The hotel is set back from the main street so nice an quiet at night; for those skiing they have a boot room near the main Alpin Express lift too which is perfect. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Don’t think about it, just book it, you won’t be disappointed.
